Rainy day…..windy overcast and showers. Mike and I install a new compass in the pilot house and finish tubing supports on the fly bridge. Then we head out to Blue Water Charts to upgrade my paper charts for the rest of the trip. Then Sailorman so Mike can get purchase bronze port lights for his boat. I can pickup a few more 12 volt lighting kits to convert more of our fixtures from halide to LEDs….Then back to Boat Owners Warehouse to return windshield wiper blades that were too short and pick up an off shore flare kit.
Every day we watch monster boats being towed up and down the South Branch of the New River. I need to put a picture here…..
We had thought our boat was big until we got here….
